The good news to the citizens of india about PAN (Permanent Account Number) was now we can fill this application and can submit it through online. The PAN card is very essential in terms of income tax and can be used as your address proof as it is issued by the income tax department of india. Now the process for applying and filling the pan card is explained neatly when you go down.

First we have to logon into the official website https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/pan/ and you can able to see the new links which are available as ‘new application for Indian citizens’ and also ‘new application for foreign citizens’. Both the applications are one and the same but differs in the name of the forms. For Indian citizens you have to fill the 49A form and for the foreign citizens you have to fill the 49AA form. You can also have the facility for correcting the pan details once you entered into it and also you can track your application status in it.

Once you entered to fill the application form there you can see the links for the application which can be used to filling it, you can also visit the links that the frequently asked questions will also helps you for a little extent. Then go to the online application form for a new one i.e., form 49A. once you clicked on it you will able to fill one application regarding the new pan card request. Now you will see the fields which are marked with ‘*’ and also without that mark. The fields which have mark was mandatory i.e., you have to fill those fields with your details to finish the application process. The 5^th point is about your residential address. You have to give the door no, building number, street/road number, area, town/city, state and your pincode, country then your zip code. If you are an employee and so you will have your office address. So you must have to give your office address under that column. In the 6^th point you are asked in what address you have to communicate so that your card will come to that address. If you selected the communicated address as office address then you must submit your addresses to the ndcl.

Then your telephone number or mobile number have to be given in the 7^th point, if you are giving your landline number then the code and also the country code have  to give behalf of it. The e-mail id must also be provided if you have. The gender or sex must be given in the 8^th point. The position or status of the applicant must be given in the 9^th point. The date of birth must be given in the 10^th point and this must be a genuine so that this must be used as a proof.

If you owned any company or a firm then you can fill in 11^th. The 12^th point was related to your aadhaar number. If you applied for aadhaar then that number was given in the given field. the 13^thpoint asks you about your source of income so that you can check that check box correctly. The 14^th is an exceptional question so that it was related to any minors or crime people who disobeyed the government so that one must given surety for him and the below fields are for that person to fill his/her details so that he can get his pan number under the surety of that person who gave to him.

The 15^th point was about the documents which you are submitting to the government to say I am this person with all my mentioned details are true and can be checked and compared with the submitted documents. You must upload or submit two documents one for your proof of identity and one for your proof of address.The 16^th point is about the deceleration that you submitted was correct.

After filling all the details you have to pay an amount of rupees 96 in the specified bank as a demand draft. So that you can obtain your pan card and also the details of that demand draft like the number of the draft, date bank name, branch and also you can pay the net amount by using you credit card and also by net banking.
