IES 2013 Notification, Syllabus, Pattern only at upsc.gov.in from march 16th 2013

Notification for the Engineering Services Examination 2013 will be released on 6th April 2013.
Indian engineering services 2013 which was conducted by the UPSC will be in the June of this year. All the students who are interested in this examination must be ready to prepare for this examination because the notification will able to release in the march. The expected dates by the union public service commission of india is able to release the dates which are mentioned below.
Upsc conducts a common examination for engineering services examination (ESE) and IES examination for the following branches of engineering. These are divided into categories. The application forms will able to submit in the UPSC official portal as http://www.upsc.gov.in. They are as follows.
  • Civil engineering.
  • Mechanical engineering.
  • Electrical engineering.
  • Electronics and telecommunication engineering.

Pattern:

The examination pattern for this will be given below. The entire examination will be divided into two sections. The first section consists of the general ability test and also engineering paper-1 and engineering paper-II. The second section consists of the conventional papers which will have conventional paper 1 and conventional paper-II. All these papers will be of 200 marks.
So the maximum examination marks will be of 1000 marks. Hence the IES examination will be for 1000 marks. All the papers I & II will covers the entire syllabus for this examination. Minimum qualification marks has to obtain so as to correct the further papers in this IES examination 2013. IES 2013 syllabus, cutoff, difficulty, examination relevant data is almost same as IES 2012.
Important dates :
Date of notification  : 6th April 2013.
Last date for submitting applications : 6th May2013.
Examination date : 28th june 2013.
Total marks for exam : 1000
No.of days : 3
